Aussie Beaches - everyone should visit at least one in their lifetime!

PATROLLED BEACHES

Australia Wide

When talking about patrolled beaches we are referring to those that have an Active Lifesaving Service on that beach, however please be aware that even though the below list is of this, it does not mean that this service is available all day or on all parts of any patrolled beach.

When the red and yellow flags are visible on a beach, it is both to show this beach is patrolled as well as defining the safest area in which to swim.

On most beaches there will be signage to advise general information, applicable to that beach and it is highly recommended that every visitor takes note of these signs as in some instances fines may apply for non-compliance.
