Beaches of Queensland - the perfect getaway - from the crowds that flock to Surfers Paradise to little hidden retreats.
Queensland Coast is over 12000kms in length when including the States 1955 offshore Islands. It combines both tropical and sub-tropical temperatures which translates to year round warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine - hence it being known as the "Sunshine State".
Its south-east coast has both stretches of untouched coastline and wild offshore islands.
The west coast, which has been formed by the waters of the Gulf of Carpentaria is an isolated ecological rich region, made up of mudflats, mangroves, large rivers, endless skies and unlimited possibilities for fishing.
Best time to visit Far North Queensland is the Dry Season - April to November.
Brisbane - the Capital of Queensland, created on the banks of Moreton Bay, has in close proximity offshore islands that offer the world in the way of being quiet retreats with surf, calm-water beaches, forests, bushlands, lakes and dunes to indulge your passions for getting away from it all.
