Beaches of South Australia offers huge variety - from the simple sandy beach to the more exotic bushland and rocky terrain.
Visitors are attracted to this region for far away horizons, long roads, the natural untouched beauty of the place as well as the challenges offered in the great outdoors ranging from deep-sea fishing to trekking or back to the ocean for cage diving with white sharks.
Shark Bay - which is World Heritage Listed - is home to dolphins, dugongs, turtles and rock-like structures called - "Stromatolites" - which are described as "Life in its most ancient form".
Best time to visit is Autumn and Spring, (March, April, May - September, October, November), as winters are generally very cold, with the far west region, mainly Nullabor Plains is extremely arid and is best avoided during Australia's Summer - December, January, February.
Its Capital City - Adelaide - has a coastline of 60kms, going from Outer Harbour in the north to Port Noralunga and includes easily accessible sandy beaches.
